I am researching George Alfred Jury who I believe was with the DWS. During the war he was a Lieutenant in the Royal Signals and stationed at Whaddon Hall, I believe he also saw service in France and Egypt.

Hoping that somebody might have known him, I would be very grateful if anybody could provide any information on his army or DWS career.

Many thanks

Dave

Hi,

My Father Reg Cockayne served at the same time and was at Whaddon and Egypt.

They may have known one another.

You could try David White who runs the DWS hut at Bletchley Park. My Dad used to play chess with him at Hanslope after the war. he may know someone to ask.

Steve Cockayne

p.s. secretive lot!
